UCL has an active Missions program supporting seven non-profit mission groups in Peru with quarterly funds and organizing special projects throughout the year.

The seven groups we currently support are:

Hogar San Franciso de Asis -  Temporary home for ill and destitute children  providing the medical attention they need.

NEWMA –Training and development of Peruvian and Latin American  Missionaries to spread the gospel to all Nations.

ADESA Works to improve medical care and educational opportunities for indigent families in shanty towns of the Northern Zone of Lima, Peru and other areas of Peru.

SEGADORES –Training of missionaries in Peru, particularly in the unreached jungle areas.

HOGAR BETANIA –Christian based nursing home for low or no income elderly.

SCRIPTURE UNION - Works with street boys of Lima, Iquitos, Kawai, Cuzco & Caraz.  Provides a home, and teaches them skills.  Also works with deaf children.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE WOMEN’S PRISON MINISTRY - Weekly visits to Women’s prison providing Bible Study and Counseling as well as helping to provide clothing and personal hygiene items for over 60 foreign women incarcerated in Lima and on Parole.

Throughout the year we also get the community involved in special projects such as a Love Offering, Buckets of Love, and  campaigns for clothing donations, food, etc. in the case of natural disasters in Peru.  During the Christmas season we organize an Angel Tree decorated with over 80 angels to be adopted by our congregation and the community to help brighten a needy child’s Christmas with a small gift, a traditional Christmas cake and chocolate milk.
