Sunday School: You
will enjoy the variety of classes offered during the 9:30 Sunday School hour.
Joining one of his classes is a real treat.
The Music Ministry of The Union church consists of a chancel choir, a
contemporary praise team, and a variety of musicians (guitar, cello, violin,
clarinet, bongos, etc.). We offer a lively mix of the classical and the new, of
the traditional and the contemporary, we offer many Bible studies and other
activities through our the week. Contact the church office for a current
listing.We have vibrant Jr. and Sr. High Youth
Group programs. The Senior High's meet every week and the Junior High's
every other week during the school year. Every February the Sr. High's go on a
week's retreat to the Buhama Beach.
Above the 10% budgeted tithe, our congregation also helped in these ways:
Angel Tree: donated 144 pairs of shoes to the orphans of Hogar Belen in Moquegua.
Buckets of Love: 36 buckets were filled with staple food items by the UCL congregation for needy families with children.
Love Offering: donated funds to help pay education costs for the children of UCL’s maintenance staff.
Back to school supplies and bags: For Easter, the congregation filled 53 school supply bags for the children of the Hogar San Francisco de Assis, Horacio Zevallos, and the children of the women at the La Voz de La Mujer shelters. |
