HOLIDAY FAIR This weekend, December 3rd, the Union Church, Angamos 1155, Miraflores, will celebrate their annual Holiday Fair, Christmas bazaar from 10 am – 3 pm. Their Baked Goods booth will be offering a variety of seasonal home baked goods as well as their famous pecan pies and peanut brittle. Other booths will offer a variety of goods to satisfy your last minute Christmas shopping needs to beautiful quilted products to “Deck the Halls”. If you need a brief respite from all of the shopping, there will be delicious goodies in the “Garden Café” as well as BBQ chicken, chorizos, etc. Santa Claus will appear at 11 am and 1 pm, for the delight of the little ones. You don’t want to miss this special event. Entrance is S/5.00 which includes a door prize of 2 nights and 3 days in Mancora. THE LIMA WOMEN’S CHORALE CONCERT The Lima Women’s Chorale will present their annual Christmas Concert ,Sunday, Dec. 4th at 6 pm in the Chase Hall of the Union Church, Angamos 1155, Miraflores. Music will include a variety of familiar sacred and secular tunes to fill you with the spirit of Christmas and put a smile in your heart. For the little ones there will be a special concert at 4:30 pm in the Chase Hall. Tickets for the Children’s concert are S/5.00 for children 2 and over and S/10.00 for adults. Tickets for the 6 pm performance are S/10.00. COMMUNITY CHOIR CANTATA The Lima Community Choir will be presenting the cantata “Send Us a Sign” as well as selections from Handel’s Messiah on Sunday December 11 at 6 pm in the Sanctuary of the Union Church. Entrance is free. Angamos 1155, Miraflores CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE The Union Church will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 pm on Dec. 24th. The service will include reading of the Christmas story and the singing of traditional Christmas carols and special music. |
